His vision was to bring those authentic experiences to a modern quick-service restaurant while preserving the soul, quality, and intensity of traditional recipes.
After establishing CHASKA’s culinary foundation and operating model, Naveen transitioned ownership to Lucky Walia, who now leads the brand’s next chapter of growth. With expertise in hospitality, commercial real estate, and scalable restaurant operations, Lucky is expanding CHASKA into new markets while staying true to the authenticity and consistency that define the brand.

SECRET
While samosas are a staple on menus at Indian restaurants across Canada, they can often be somewhat bland and flavourless. Our secret samosa recipe originates from the Seth family matriarch Sarla Seth, a passionate homemaker who enjoyed the company of family & friends and loved cooking delicious food for them. Unfortunately, she passed away in 2019, however, her personal recipe of samosa lives on. Chaska has earned rave reviews for its trademark samosas because of Sarla’s authentic recipe and cooking technique.
